How does Chill SSL pricing work, in plain English?
Chill SSL keeps things simple: a flat fee for the core platform fee plus any SSL monitoring packs you need. There are no per-user fees or confusing usage charges — you only pay for how many certificates you need to monitor. You can add further SSL monitor packs anytime, and all billing is handled directly from your dashboard.
What’s included in the Core platform?
All monitoring, reminders, and scoring features are included with every plan. You get multiple daily checks, custom expiry reminders, status change alerts, digest emails, certificate details (issuer, SANs, algorithms), Curve-Based SSL Scoring, manual checks, bulk refresh, and IPv4 + IPv6 monitoring. There’s no hidden feature gating — everything is included from day one.
Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime?
You can switch between Core and Glacier (Launch Edition) plans, and upgrade your SSL monitor packs instantly if you need to track more certificates. Downgrades aren’t self-service yet — just contact support and we’ll handle it fairly. You can cancel whenever you like — your account and monitoring stay active until your term ends. You’ll still receive alerts, and you can export your certificate list at the end for easy re-import later if you need to take a break. Mid-plan cancellations aren’t supported, but you can choose not to renew at your next cycle.
Why is the Glacier (Launch Edition) plan limited to 25 seats?
Glacier (Launch Edition) is our founder’s tier — a special thank-you to our earliest supporters. We’re limiting it to 25 seats to keep it exclusive and ensure we can provide the personalised support and priority access that makes this plan special. Once all 25 seats are filled, this plan will no longer be available.
Are there any hidden fees?
Absolutely not. What you see is what you pay. We may release optional modules or add-ons in future, but they’re built to enhance your monitoring — not restrict what you already have.
Will early adopters keep their benefits forever?
To the best of our intentions, yes. Our Glacier (Launch Edition) plan includes a locked-in price and early-access perks for the first 25 users. If rising third-party costs ever force an adjustment, we’ll be transparent and fair, but our goal is to honour our early adopters for the long term.
What happens if I go over my monitor limit?
Your SSL monitor limit is locked at account level to keep billing predictable so you can’t accidentally add more than your plan allows. If you need more, you can upgrade instantly to a larger SSL pack. No overage fees, no surprises.
